18/04/08 - Limerick Duathlon no.2
Race number 2 of the Limerick duathlon series saw 6 Nenagh triathletes take to the starting line. The duathlon course again consisted of a hilly 3.8km run, 16km cycle and a 3.8km run. The wind was a little stronger for the second duathlon but that did not stop the Nenagh lads from easily beating their times from the previous race.
There were 66 triathletes in the race. The final positions of the Nenagh Triathletes are given below:
- Keith Butler - 9th
- Andrew McLoughlin - 17th
- Joe Cantwell - 20th
- Michael O'Dwyer - 21st
- Denis O'Meara - 27th
- Kevin Sherlock - 35th

18/04/08 - Limerick Duathlon no.1
And so the 2008 season begins......seven Nenagh Triathletes took part in the first duathlon in Limerick with five of the Nenagh triathletes taking part in a duathlon for the first time. The course consisted of a hilly 3.8km run, 16km cycle and a 3.8km run. The first race of the year is always tough on the legs, especially the second run and the 'jelly legs' problem. Despite the cramps, sweat, pain and misery of it all, each member of the club battled through and put in impressive first race times.
There were 85 triathletes in the race. The final positions of the Nenagh Triathletes are given below:

- Keith Butler - 19th
- Andrew McLoughlin - 24th
- Michael O'Dwyer - 40th
- Denis O'Meara - 48th
- Kevin Sherlock - 56th
- Eamon Hartnett - 61st
