Race Details
Registration - 7:00am - 8:30am
There will be 2 opportunities to register for the race. On Friday evening regsitration will be open from 7.30pm - 9pm in the Abbey Court Hotel. Registration is in a meeting room towards the back of the hotel beside the hotels leisure complex. (Accessible from Rear-Carpark)
Registration on the morning of the event will be open from 7.00 - 8.30am in the Abbey Court Hotel. Triathletes will collect their race number, timing chip (and t-shirt if ordered) when they register. Triathletes will also need to provide their TI membership cards or proof of one day licences at registration. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Event Parking
Parking for the Event is available at the Abbey Court
hotel (back carpark only - Turn in towards Lidl and Carpark is on the Left). The hotel have requested that we
leave the front carpark free for wedding guests.
Transition Check-in and Check-out
Bike brakes etc. will be checked on entering transition. There will be a 10 min window available circa 12:20 for finished competitors to collect their gear, bikes etc from transition.
Hang onto your Race number; you will need to show it before your gear can be collected. This window is at the transition marshals discretion.
Race Briefing - 9:00am
The race briefing will take place at 9:00 from the transition area of the Nenagh Leisure Centre.
The race briefing will be kept short and it is the responsibility of the triathletes to make themselves
familiar with the course layout. Once the briefing is finished, transition must be cleared before wave 1 commences.
Race Start - 9:30am
The first swim wave will consist of the swimmers with the slowest estimated swim time.
This wave will be starting at 09.30am. There will be 7 waves in total, and each wave will take roughly 30 mins.
The last wave will feature the elite swimmers.
Each swimmer should bring their own swim cap. The lane counter will give you
another swim cap to wear if there is a colour clash in the lane. Please deposit the cap given to you in the box provided
on exiting the pool.
Kids Run Races
Kids run race series will take place on the CBS track at 2:00 pm (distances depending on age). Kids can register for these races during normal registration times but they must be accompanied by an adult (parental consent signature required).
Prize Presentation
The prizes will be given out after the race in the Nenagh CBS hall. The presentation will take place roughly half an hour after the race is finished.
Final time sheets should be available to everyone at this stage.
There will also be spot prizes so stick around and you might win something.
